Since about 10 days we experience a ferocious hacking attack on whipp3d.com… Seems like someone is really trying to shut us down 🙁
In an effort to stop the hackers, whipp3d.com has been rebuilt from scratch (second time this week i’m afraid).
In order to try to avoid being hacked again, i’ve disabled a lot of functionality (to give the hacker less functionality to exploit) and i wil cease posting new posts for a couple of days (so i’ll notice new hacking attempts faster)…
I’ll start posting again on the 14th of july 2012!
For the next couple of days:
- no new posts untill the 14th (2 full days without updates)
- no support for mobile devices
- the review page for DVD’s will be disabled
- the site will have a very sober look
- no WYSIWYG editor for comments
- no embedded movies
- no gzip compresion of the page (the site will load a little slower)
- image resizing will be screwed up
- no favicon
- no polls
- no twitter updates
- …
